FET’ians ON BREAK
With exams starting from 23rd October,FET’ians are on a not so awaited break. It’s a break for studies (not from studies). After days of masti and mazaa, now it’s the time to open your books and realise the gravity of situation. Each and everyone (barring a few geeks) is trying to figure out the head or tail (whichever you catch first) of the vast course. Everything is still the same but with few twists. The nights are still alive but not with guppa or movie sessions but with tiring study sessions. Hostel stairs are still thronged by girls, but they are no longer talking on phones but are desperately trying to mug some "really-difficult-to-understand-better-to-rato subject". Even the forever online people are now offline or online with red batti on and a "D-N-D" status message. Xerox counters are flooded and eating joints little less crowded. Well, an exam does turn things ultaa. So, ALL THE BEST to everyone, work hard and DO WELL.:-) ;-)

PICTURES OF PEOPLE SHOULD SAY SOMETHING
Posed pictures should show people at their best, looking relaxed and comfortable in their relationship.
A candid picture can capture relationships, such as this family's obvious comfort with one another, differently than one that is posed In every case, good people pictures convey a message. The message can fall into one of several categories. Your picture can, for instance, tell a story, show relationships or provide inspiration. Without a message, a photograph lacks interest. It says nothing, and therefore it gives nothing to the viewer.
In most cases, conveying a message is not that difficult. You simply have to think before you click the shutter. Ask yourself what you want your picture to say. Once you have defined it, you are then able to figure out how best to capture it on film. Occasionally, you will see it before you in a candid shot, as with the picture on the right of this family, and will have to capture it quickly before it is interrupted. |
